The Sullivan County Fair is pure Appalachian Americana — livestock shows, carnival rides, demolition derbies, live music, blue ribbon baking, and the kind of funnel cakes that make diets irrelevant. Held at the Ron Ramsey Regional Agriculture Center in Blountville, it's the annual gathering where Sullivan County's agricultural heritage meets modern community celebration. Come for the competition, stay for the people.
